Recently, while walking around Salisbury High School, I could not help but notice the number of teachers who are using Google Classroom with their students. For those that do not know, “Classroom is a…tool in Google Apps for Education that helps teachers create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and easily communicate with their classes.” More or less, the tool is all about enhancing organization and workflow within Google Apps for Education, which makes it valuable because it integrates with and enhances what we are already using. At the same time, Classroom is almost to the point where it could be called a learning management system (LMS), and possibly be used in place of such systems as Moodle, Edmodo, Schoology, etc.
