What did / do you have to unlearn? 24/180

What did : do you have to unlearn?Contributed by Ken Parliman, Middle School Principal

During our opening day session with teachers, we discussed the need to reflect on current practice and not get get stuck doing things just because “that’s how it’s been done”.  Our staff shared several educational experiences that they needed to “unlearn” in order to provide the best learning experience for our students.  The students we’re currently working for are much different than the students we worked for in the past!  It’s time to reflect, unlearn, relearn and stop doing things because “that’s how it’s always been done!”

What would your students say we need to “unlearn?”
