MakerspaceContributed by Patti Anderson, Fourth Grade Teacher

A makerspace is part science lab, part art studio, part woodshop, and part computer lab.   They are cross-disciplinary spaces designed to encourage students to engage in creative problem-solving, to tinker, to build, to invent, and to explore their own interests. They use a wide variety of tools and materials,  and are designed to accommodate a constantly evolving set of activities.
